Stop by here on Saturday on my way up the Redwood Highway and had the best breakfast burrito I've ever had along with a great mocha made by a red hair young lady named Melissa.. On my trip back through on Sunday i had a grill salmon burger that was the best ever. This little store has the most unique selection of gifts and finest collection of books one would ever fine under one roof. I will always stop on future trips of the Redwood Highway

I go south a couple times per month and ALWAYS stop at The Peg House. I havent had the bbq yet, but ALWAYS buy a yummy $2 brownie. They are the best brownies ever made. I cant drive 101 through Legget without getting one (or two).

I stayed at Standish-Hickey campground near The Peg House.
Lucky this convience store was so close. It saved me gas shopping
here. I didn't have to shop anywhere else to buy the camping supplies that we needed. Outstanding tri-tip sandwich and bbq oysters.
I also wanted to mention the yummy blackberry sundae, good on a hot day. Yes, we will definately stop by here again.

I was so inpressed with this convience store located just off
hwy 101 across the way from the Standish Hickey campground
that I made a website especially for The Peg House.

Not Onyl do they have some of the best food I have ever had, but also has more items then most deparmetn stores! Not only do they have redwood gift items, post cards, and gift shop items, they also have grocery items, they also have rare gift items! Everytime I go there, I leave with a large car full of rare findings!
